Bayer – RVJ School of Agriculture celebrates 18th convocation
Hyderabad: The Bayer-RVJ School of Agriculture celebrated its 18th Convocation ceremony here on Wednesday. It has been consistently contributing towards the development of scientific farming and creating a talent pool of skilled agricultural professionals.
“In current scenario, children think that food comes from the super market. The generation has less knowledge about agriculture. Agriculture is a prime sector in our country. It provides the essential and important food for all. It determines the performance of our economy, ensures food availability and nutritional security, creates rural employment and boosts income.
Every industry passes through volatility and agriculture is no exception even though our farmers have stood by test of time and give us hope that things would turn better every time. Role of young and technically advanced farmers is very vital to drive this sector to new heights.
Agriculture should be seen as an ideal noble and desirable profession by young people. Currently there are many technology graduates who also are turning to agriculture and doing their bit in best possible way. Such initiatives are required more in numbers,” said P Suresh Babu, Managing Director, Suresh Productions.
Dr D N Rao, President, Vignana Jyothi, B Sarat Gopal, General Secretary, Vignana Jyothi, Ch Achyuta Rama Prasad, Chairman, Advisory Committee, DRNVJIRD, Dr Arjun Rao, Director and other Board members of Bayer- RVJ School of Agriculture also spoke.
