Shri Shakti Educational Society celebrates 24 years of excellence

Hyderabad: The Shri Shakti Educational Society, which runs two premier Hotel Management colleges in the city - Institute of Hotel Management -Shri Shakti (Affiliated to NCHMCT, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India) and Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management (Affiliated to Osmania University) celebrated its 24th Annual day with great fervour and pomp, on Sunday at its premises at Begumpet.

Navin Mittal, IAS, Commissioner of Technical Education, Telangana, was the Chief Guest. D. V. Manohar, Chairman, Shri Shakti Group, presided over the function; Satya Pinjala, Executive Director and Yamuna Ranga Rao, Director, Shri Shakti Educational Society; Anish Banerjee, Principal, 

Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management; Anita Chandran, Principal, Institute of Hotel Management, Shri Shakti; General Managers and Training Managers from the Hotels; along with students and parents witnessed the grand celebrations and enjoyed the cultural programmes presented by the students.

Navin Mittal released a special logo along with the Annual issues of the College Magazines of both the Institutes on the occasion. He appreciated the talent of the students for the beautiful non-edible display.

D. V. Manohar, in his presidential address said, the practical skills is what matters as you graduate from the course and this college has laid special emphasis on imparting practical training. The skills that you gained here and your proactive enthusiasm will ensure that there will be nothing that can stop you. Now the whole world is before you, so aim high and you will do very well in your career. 

Students and Rotaract members donated generous amounts to various orphanages. Meritorious students were presented with Gold & Silver Medals and Awards. 

The students made a special effort to make the occasion memorable. The presentation of the food preparations, flowers and beverages was exceptionally creative showcasing their talent. The colourful cultural program by students demonstrated India’s diverse culture and was the highlight of the event.
