214 jail inmates seek BRAOU admission

 Hyderabad: Around 214 jail inmates were among 11,432 candidates, who appeared for the Dr BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) Eligibility Test (E.T) throughout Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh spread over 156 examination centres on Sunday. The inmates included six women from various central prisons.  

Prof K Seetharama Rao, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU, and Prof C Venkataiah, Registrar visited the examination centres in Mahaboobnagar district.
