Two-day conference on Advances in Information Technology and Computing

Hyderabad: Information Technology Department of Srinidhi Institute of Technology and Sciences, Ghatkesar, Hyderabad has organised a two-day conference on Advances in information Technology and computing.

Being the first of its kind conference in the country, it has not only covered a wide range of very interesting advancements relating to the Security in Cloud and Big Data Analytics; but also has received 98 papers from all over India out of which 51 selected for presentation and also for publication in UGC Journal.

Prof DVLN Somayajulu, Chair -E&ICT Academy at NIT Warangal, was the chief guest for the occasion.

Addressing the students, Chief guest focused mainly on the advancements happening in the industry and how mathematics is important in today’s computing world. He quoted that there will be a requirement of 1.5 million jobs available in the field of Data Sciences and Data Analytics.

“We are proud to state that this conference is a grand success as we have totally received 98 papers from Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Punjab, Nagpur, Delhi, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Chennai, Tirupati, Gujarat, Vizag, and Hyderabad out of which 51 papers were selected for publication in both proceedings and UGC & TR indexed Journal: International  Journal of Engineering Research in Computer Science and Engineering”, stated the college management.
