Raghu Institute of Technology is now autonomous
Raghu institute of technology (RIT) has attained Autonomous status from the University Grants Commission (UGC) says the chairman of the institute Kalidindi Raghu . He said that last year at the same time Raghu engineering college has attained autonomous status and now this year we even got the status of autonomous from UGC for Raghu institute of technology (RIT) speech given by him on Monday evening at the college premises in the press reporters meeting.
UGC offered this autonomous status to us after observing all the courses conducted, facilities offered, the teaching pedagogy, faculty and infrastructure facilities. Autonomous status has put a lot of responsibility on us. Quality in teaching, preparing the question papers, conducting the examinations, correction of papers and a lot more points are to be taken care. System is established in the college to take care all these activities, says Kalidindi Raghu.
Raghu Engineering colleges has already attained NBA,NAAC A grade accreditation, The campus is equipped and strengthened with the state of the art infrastructure with built-up area of 5 Lakh sq ft, 434 teaching staff,335 non teaching staff, air conditioned seminar halls, internationally reputed cricket ground and many more facilities available in the campus.
According to the survey conducted by the week magazine, our colleges ranked 92nd best private Engineering College in India. So far more than 450 students placed in IT, ITES and core companies from 2018 pass out batch, said Raghu. Best teaching practices, Skill development and employment opportunities are the main essentials of our education system and Raghu Engineering Institutions rae striving towards it, said Raghu.
Electro lounge, invention studio,coding lounge and many other laboratories with international standards have been provided to the students. These labs create innovative ideas amongst students and help them to enhance their inherent abilities says Kalidindi. We all will work to provide employment along with the education to the students says the chairman Kalidindi Raghu.
Raghu Educational institutes were established in 2001 in order to offer quality engineering education to students. Raghu Engineering college and Raghu institute of technology have been established for offering B Tech in ECE, CSE, Mech, EEE and Civil branches and M Tech in CSE, CAD/CAM, Embeded systems, VLSI and Controlled systems. He said that Teaching staff consist of 60 doctorates and Industrially experienced faculty.
Raghu Educational institutes gives more priority in the field of sports., it contains the cricket stadium with international standards, an indoor stadium for badminton, table tennis, chess and many other . The playground for basket ball, foot ball, hockey, kho-kho, kabaddi,hand ball, athletics are being developed with expert PET’S. Ricky Bhui , our EEE student represented India as captain for under -19 cricket team and won Asia Cup.
Our student Prudhvi played Ranjit Trophy and represented Andhra Pradesh As per UGC suggestions, we have established an internal assurance cell and regularly monitor and improve the teaching standards and provide quality engineering education to students, said Raghu Kalidindi.
