IIT-JEE (Adv): Sri Chaitanya sets new national record

Hyderabad: Sri Chaitanya scripted yet another success by securing top and highest number of ranks in the IIT-JEE-Advanced-2018, including the all-India 1st, 2nd, 7th and 9th ranks in the open category.  Sri Chaitanya students got 22 ranks below 100 in open category and 63 ranks below 100 in all categories put together.

Among the 2.24 lakhs JEE-MAIN rank holders, SriChaitanya students Pranav Goyal got 1st rank, , Sahil Jain got the  2nd rank, CKVR Hemanth Kumar got the  7th rank and Lay Jain 9th Rank in the open category at the national level, while  other students got 15, 16, 17, 22, 31, 37, 38, 40, 41, 49, 52, 54, 57, 65, 68, 79, 89, 94 and 22 ranks and created history in the 67-year history  of the IITs.

Winning the prestigious exam with such exemplary ranks speaks the leadership of the institution. Hence, Sri Chaitanya became the national champion clinching top ranks in JEE-Advanced, says, Ms Sushma, the Academic Director. Dr BS Rao, the Founder Chairman, conveyed his best wishes to students, parents, teaching staff and the administration for achieving such a great honour.
