Fun and Furore at MANUU

​Hyderabad: The semi-annual division conference of Divisions E, F, G, H of District 98, Toastmasters International, “Fun & Furore–2018”, concluded on a grand note at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Gachibowli  on Sunday. 

Around 500 Toastmasters from the two Telugu States, Pune and Nagpur attended the conference. Sriram Karri, a well-known political commentator and author, was the keynote speaker. Shekhar Goud, blade runner, transgender Vyjayanthi and Tejaswini of Bhoomi Foundation were the guest speakers. There were some rib-tickling speeches, spectacular evaluations from 36 contestants who battled it out to win the coveted titles. 

The theme for this year’s Fun & Furore was #Me2We- how we transformed from one single person to a family who stand with each other through thick and thin. To make this mega event successful, there were 60 volunteers who worked tirelessly for three months---starting from registrations, logistics and programme quality.
