Draw A Dream unfolds a powerhouse of talents
Hyderabad: Thousands of young talents assembled at Gachibowli Stadium early in the morning on Wednesday to unleash their creative bests on papers and crafted a wonderworld of paintings, flabbergasting the organisers and their teachers alike.
Over 20,000 students from 88 schools in and around Hyderabad, clad in different uniforms and carrying pencils, sketch pens, crayons and erasers sat in rows and breathed lives into papers in the unique event organised by The Hans India in association with Syndicate bank, and supported by Kapil group, HMTV News, EKAM Water & Sadhguru The School of Arts, Maxcure, Suyosha, Women & Child Hospital. The event created Viswaguru World Record, making the participants, organisers and various schools proud.
The event was inaugurated by Syndicate Bank General Manager S Vijayakumar. The painting competition titled ‘Draw A Dream’ provided the best environment for schoolchildren to flaunt their drawing and painting talents.
The highest participation was from P Obul Reddy School with 800 students followed by Sri Chaitanya School with 44 students.The stadium with a total capacity of 30,000 was full of gusto as the children thoroughly enjoyed the programme.
Necessary articles were distributed among the young artists by the organising members. Astall was set up for health check up and to tackle any health-related problems. The young prodigies not only vented their artistic skills but also had some fun moments trying their hands at some sports items and other sort of merriment.
It was not just talent, but also a lot of fun, frolic and knowing each other that marked the event.
Chief guests S Vijaya Kumar, GM, Syndicate Bank, K Hanumanta Rao, ED, B Sai Reddy, GM (Cir), Ramu Sarma, Editor, The Hans India and Rambabu, Senior Manager (Cir) were seen interacting with children and teachers of various schools.
All the students will get the participation certificates and the best 500 students will be selected for other prizes. “Draw A Dream’is a platform for young and budding artists to showcase their imagination, creativity and talent. It was joyous, exciting and memorable day for students, parents and teachers,”said Sujatha, Art &Craft teacher, P Obul Reddy School.
Rajesh, campus in-charge of Sri Chaitanya School, blessed the students and appreciated the innovative young minds. He also lauded the efforts of the organisation for providing an enabling environment in which children’s potential has been encouraged and developed through a wide variety of excellent learning experience.
PUVKH Prasad, Asst General Manger, Syndicate Bank Zonal Office, Hyderabad, said,“We have sponsors for this event to encourage the children as they are future generations and to give them knowledge on how important is saving.” The day, however, remained a memorable day in young talents lives and they fully enjoyed the unique event.
