Sitar-2K19 techno festival today in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: Sitar-2K19, a national techno festival will be organised by PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology on February 8, said the college convener, Boyapati Sriramulu here on Thursday.
Speaking to the media, Srinivasulu said that about 1,500 students from 67 institutions from all over India would be participating in the festival. He said that 275 paper presentations and 47 model project presentations in various modules of the six disciplines along with technical activities would be held.
Several discussions and interactions with the experts were being organised in the techno fest, he added. Furthermore, he said that every year the festival is being organised in a grand way.
College principal Dr K Shivaji Babu said that there would be several engineering knowledge-based activities and competitions would be held like paper presentations, technical quiz, ideation, coding contest, project expo, contraption, business quiz, young manager and market makers besides cultural events like dancing and light music.
He said as many as 256 students will share their views and ideas. A total of 64 stalls are set up on the college premises.
Dr P Rajesh Kumar, Dr Rudramadevi, Prof Dr J Rajendra Prasad, Dr MV Rama Krishna were present.
