After Sachin, MS Dhoni Spotted At Sathya Sai Prashanti Nilayam, Puttaparthi

Former Indian cricket captain and senior alrounder MS Dhoni was spotted at Sri Sathya Sai Prashanti Nilayam in Puttaparthi, a small hamlet in the Telugu state of Andhra Pradesh.

The senior cricketer arrived at Puttaparthi airport via a chartered flight and went straight to pay his respects at the Sai Kulwanth Hall where Samadhi of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is located. That apart, Dhoni was also given a tour of the world famous Super Speciality hospital in Puttaparthi with state of art facilities offering best medical treatment free of cost for years now.

Dhoni is said to have been superimpressed by the facilities and the functioning of the hospital. He even wrote a message for the staff saying...

Thanks a lot for helping me through. Keep up the good work that everyone is so passionately part of. My best wishes always.

After a recce of the hospital, MS Dhoni went to meet Dr Muthu Kumar, a specialist in sports medicine who has been frequenting the super speciality hospital at Prashanti Nilayam over the last fifteen years. He works in London. He offer free consultation twice in a year, it is learned.

The cricketer is said to have spent a good one hour at the hospital interacting with Dr Muthukumar, who is on the panel of external doctors for the Men in Blue including Dhoni.

Dhoni is not the first cricketer to be seen at the Sathya Sai ashram. Earlier, even VVS Laxman was spotted there. Sachin is a staunch follower of Sathya Sai Baba and he even put out a message on the birth anniversary of Baba, who he considers his guru in November on Twitter. He was also for the first time seen crying at the mortal remains of Sri Sathya Baba after his demise.
