'Tendulkar, I was not wrong,' Ganguly trolls Sachin once again on social media

Having played almost three decades together, Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar share a great friendship on and off the field. Ganguly is one of the rare persons who can go ahead and pull Tendulkar's leg without any worries.

After trolling Tendulkar for vacationing in Australia, Ganguly once again put a cheeky reply on the Little Master's latest post from Berlin on Monday.

On reaching Berlin, Tendulkar shared a few pictures posing in front of a heritage building on his social media accounts. "Happy to be in Berlin for the @laureussport World Sports Awards 2020!" Tendulkar wrote along with the pictures.

Ganguly was quick to reply with," Tendulkar.. I was not wrong ..." The former Indian skipper's comment was in reference to what he had said when Tendulkar was holidaying in Australia four days ago.

Tendulkar had uploaded pictures of himself while "Soaking up the Sun" in Melbourne. Ganguly had pulled his leg on that picture as well. "Kisi kisi ka kismat acha hai (some people are lucky) .. chuttii manate raho (keep holidaying)," Ganguly's reply on that post.

The legendary Indian cricketer was in Berlin to attend the Laureus World Sports Awards. He was nominated along with five more athletes for the Greatest Sporting Moment 2000-2020 Award. The moment, titled "Carried On the Shoulders Of A Nation", is a reference to the Team India's Cricket World Cup 2011 win in Mumbai.

The moment when Tendulkar was lifted on the shoulders of his India teammates in front of a pumped-up Wankhede on April 2, 2011, was voted the Laureus best sporting moment in the last 20 years. Thanks to thousands of Indian cricket fans who voted for it, Tendulkar emerged as the winner.

As soon as MS Dhoni had smashed the Sri Lankan pacer Nuwan Kulasekara out of the park for a winning six, the Indian players had run down to the ground to lift Tendulkar, acknowledging his contribution for almost 24 years for the country.

Tendulkar received the trophy in Berlin from former Australian cricketer Steve Waugh after tennis legend Boris Becker announced the winner at the dazzling ceremony.

"It's incredible. The feeling of winning the world cup was beyond what words can express. How many times you get an event happening where there are no mixed opinions. Very rarely the entire country celebrates.

And this is a reminder of how powerful a sport is and what magic it does to our lives. Even now when I watch that it has stayed with me," Tendulkar said in a small speech on receiving the trophy.
