TVAGA holds second edition of Indiajoy cricket championship

Hyderabad: After a grand success of the first edition of Indiajoy Cricket tournament in 2018, TVAGA hit the second edition in style with more than 30 studios and 20 academies from AVCG industry participating to prove their sportive energy. Indiajoy Cricket Championship (IJCC) is associated with Indiajoy Festival (www.indiajoy.in) which is happening from November 20-23 in HICC Novotel, Hyderabad.

Indiajoy is an excellent platform to network with all stakeholders of the industry and gain knowledge on current trends in the market. It's a collection of more than 10 Individual events in one place promising to unfold opportunities for investors, corporations, studios, content developers, delegates, consumers, hardware manufacturers and students, through series of networking, trade exhibitions, product launches, B2B and B2C events.

The cricket tournament was organised among AVCG production companies and academies separately from June 29 to September 22. The finals of this tournament happened between Rotomaker vs Double Negative in Production category and IACG vs MAAC Dilsukhnagar in Academy category.

In a breathtaking match between Rotomaker and DNEG, DNEG won the match by five wickets and received their first championship trophy. In the second finals between IACG and MAAC Secunderabad, IACG won the match by 40 runs and claimed their first championship trophy.

Chief guests Shawket, Joint director, ITE&C department, Government of Telangana and Madhav Reddy, General Secretary of TVAGA honoured the winners of the tournament with trophies and medals.

At the completion of the tournament, Shawket said, "Sports play a vital role in creating professional and personal integrity. They not only develop physical activeness but also impart perseverance and collaboration among the community. IJCC makes a lot of strategic sense for strengthening the industry by uniting various AVCG segments and profiles through this exciting competitive environment".

Expressing his view on the importance of collaboration, the General Secretary of TVAGA Madhav Reddy said " Despite being a debut event, We received outstanding participation from all companies in Hyderabad last year. It's good to see that the companies are preparing their teams by allowing the players to practice during the working hours. Hope to see some enthusiasm from TVAGA community to make Indiajoy Festival a grand success".
