U-19 off-spinner, a stunner with 51 wickets in a season

Bahadurpura : A young emerging off-spin bowler Mohammed Khawaja Mudassir Ahmed from the Old City, who is on wicket taking spree, created a history by stumping out more than 50 players during the last 14 matches of 'A' division Tournament and Knock-Out Inter College Tournaments organised by Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) in the current 2019 season

Mudassir, an under-19 bowler, took 51 wickets in the matches played during the last four months under current series of both the tournaments and emerge as a bowler with a sparking ability to hit the bails out.

The tournaments are now being organised in premier play grounds of Hyderabad and Ragareddy district on the outskirts by the Hyderabad Cricket Association.

Mudassir, while playing for Mahmood CC League Team and Jhanvi Degree College Secunderabad separately, has created this record of getting 51 wickets in a single season.

He played a crucial role in winning a title of "Under 19 State Championship Telangana" during a knock-out cricket tournament for his college Jhanvi Degree College, Secunderabad.

The semi final and final matches were organised in a grand note at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium Uppal, Hyderabad wherein Mudassir's team bagged the final trophy and won the championship title.

He also took 8 wickets while playing for Mahmood CC recently. Adding more in his bucket, he took 5 and 6 wickets while playing in different tournaments with a same pace.

With this, Mudassir became an off-spin bowler with most number of wickets in a season.
