Yuzvendra Chahal reveals which seat is always reserved for MS Dhoni in team bus (Video)
Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recently revealed that MS Dhoni is dearly missed by the whole team.
Dhoni has been away from international cricket since India's World Cup 2019 exit following the loss to New Zealand in the semi-final. The wicketkeeper-batsman earlier had said that he would give clarity about his future by January but the month is coming to an end and there is still no certainty about Dhoni's comeback.
The former Indian captain was recently dropped from BCCI's central contract list. Dhoni, who was seen training with the Jharkhand side, was expected to be a part of India's tour of New Zealand but that as well did not happen.
While the tour is underway and India are already 2-0 up in the five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series, there is still no news in regards to Dhoni's India future.
The latest episode of Chahal TV was shot in Team India's bus when the Indian team were en route Hamilton from Auckland. That's where the spinner spoke about Dhoni's absence. He also revealed that the team always left a corner seat exclusively reserved for Dhoni during their bus journeys.
"Yeh woh seat hai Jaha ek legend baithte they, Mahi bhai [MS Dhoni]. Abhi bhi yaha koi nahi baithta. Hum unhe bohot miss kate hai [This is the seat where one legend used to sit. No one sits here now. We all miss him a lot]," Chahal said in the video.
