DPS Nacharam recounts sports achievements

Hyderabad: Delhi Public School, Nacharam conducted the Sports Press Meet on August 3 in the school Auditorium to enumerate the various achievements of their students who have brought in loads of laurels nationally and internationally both to the school and society with their passion and grit. School Management has also offered many Sports Scholarships to encourage students.

International tennis player Shirvalli Rashmika, international shooter Kashyap, international rifle shooter and renowned lawn tennis player Rahul Chandana are all Alumni of DPS and have written Board exam this year.

They graced the occasion and shared a few tips about their sport and advised the gatheringto have a balance with academics. They thanked the school for providing a platform and personal academic support all along.

Chirag for Inline Hockey, Geethika for NCC and rifle shooting, Kaustub in cricket, Srihitha Jaligama in tennis, Aryan in Archery are few of the other students who shared their 'Success Mantra'.

Over 600 students and 200 parents attended the session.

Principal Sunitha Rao, who had arranged the Sports Meet, has been the pillar of support in planning the overall growth of the school and its students in specific.

Chairman M. Komariah too has left no stone unturned to have a galore of sports facilities in the school to encourage more and more students take up sports in the school curriculum and to have a perfect sync with body and mind.

No less than 16 sports activities are encouraged in the school.

Sunitha Rao and Vice-Principal Nandita Sunkara beamed with pride while speaking on the occasion about the various achievements of their students.

Students who took to sports have been successful in keeing a perfect balance with academics and sports. These students stand out as success icons for all the other sports enthusiasts in the school while sharing their Success Mantra.

The Physical Education Director Talwinder Singh ensured that all the sports fervent students of their school got to interact with their Sports Alumni.
