'Ed Woodward's gonna die,' frustrated Man Utd fans attack club's vice-chairman's house (Video)
Frustrated Manchester United fans attacked the home of club's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
The former Premier League champions called it an "unwanted attack" in a statement they released after the incident came into the light through a video that went viral on social media.
The footage showed red flares being thrown over the gates of Woodward's property. A message at the bottom of the video read," Ed Woodward's gonna die."

The Old Trafford side said they have come to know about the incident "outside the home of one of our employees," adding that the "football world will unite behind us" as the club has begun to work with police to identify the vandals.
"Anybody found guilty of a criminal offense, or found to be trespassing on this property, will be banned for life by the club. Fans expressing an opinion is one thing, criminal damage and intent to endanger life and property is another. There is simply no excuse for this," the club said in a statement.
It was not known if Woodward and his family were present in the property during the attack.
Woodward and Man Utd's owners, the US-based Glazer family, have been on the receiving end of verbal abuse from fans following their last two losses to Liverpool and Burnley respectively in the Premier League.
The loss to Burnley at home made the situation worse because it was Burnley's first win over the 20-time champions since 1962.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's struggling side is currently in fifth place on the Premier League table, 33 points behind their arch-rivals Liverpool FC who are table-toppers.
