Multi-sport 3-day tournament begins

Hyderabad: The three-day extravaganza ,the 9th Rukmini Bai Table Tennis, Chess, Carroms & Volley Ball Tournament inaugurated by P.Madhusudhan Rao, Secretary and Correspondent of the Secunderabad Public School, commenced on Thursday with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp invoking the Almighty's blessings.

Dedicated to the fond memory of Late Rukmini Bai, mother of Secretary and Correspondent P. Madhusudana Rao, The Rukmini Bai Sports Academy is a registered full-fledged sports academy which endeavours a ceaseless pursuit in encouraging young budding sports enthusiasts.

The Annual sports event which took off on a promising note, witnessed more than 80 schools and more than 400 participants registering in the tournament for the coming two days.

The venue of the TT championship is YWCA and the Chess, Carroms & Volley Ball is at the Secunderabad Public School. A lot of buzz, activity and enthusiasm prevailed in the premises throughout the day.
