Telangana chess players excel in Delhi

Hyderabad: Telangana chess players scored a rich haul of medals at Western Asian Youth and Junior Chess Championship-2019 held at Tivoli Resorts, Delhi. Shaik Sumer Aarsh won Bronze in Under-12 Blitz in Boys Category with 6 points out of 9 rounds, Kheerthi Ganta Won Gold 7.5 points out of 9 rounds in Girls category M.Jahnavi Sri Lalitha Won Bronze 6.5 points out of 9 rounds.

Under-20 Open Category IM P.Rahul Srivastav won Gold with in Under-20 Boys category with 7.5 points out of 9 rounds. In Under-14 Girls Velpula Sarayu Won Bronze. In Under-12 Girls classic A.Sai Mahathi won Silver with 6.5 points and Kheerthi Ganta Bronze with 6.5 points out of 9 rounds. In Under-14 Open Classic Category Ch.Karhiksai Won Silver with 7 points out of 9 rounds.in Under-14 Girls Rapid Category Baby Velpula Sarayu Won Bronze with 5points out of 7 rounds.

TS Chess Tournament:23rd Telangana State Ranking Chess Tournment-2019 on September 15 at Yoga Hall, L B Stadium,Hyderabad. Those who born were born on/or after 2002 can participate. Strictly no spot entries are permitted .Interested players must enrol their names on or before September 13. First round start at 10am on 15th September.
