Vivek selected for WKF Karate 1 Series A Championship
Hyderabad: Indian martial artist Vivek Teja Cherupalli has been selected to represent Indian Karate team in the forthcoming WKF Karate 1 Series A Championship (WKF Ranking Tournament for Olympic 2020 standing) to be held in South America Continent, Santiago, Chile from September 20 to 22. Dimple Surapaneni, Arka Banerjee and Bigin Pappachan Binu are the other three Indian selected for the championship.
The Indian team will head for the championship under the guidance of National Team Coach Keerthan Kondru and Shihan Bharath Sharma who is the Senior vice president of Karate Association if India and the president of South Asian Karate federation.
Vivek Teja aiming for 2020 Tokyo Olympics has expertise in 8 Martial Arts styles.

*Represented India in Common Wealth Karate championship , Durban , South Africa - 2018
*Participated in 20 International karate championships.
*Won 29 Gold, 18 Silver and 16 bronze medals in International, National and state level championships.
