Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea Ship Rs 399 Postpaid Plan: Check Out the Benefits

After the data tariff war, the postpaid plans were not changed much, but the prepaid plans were going through continuous changes. Rs 399 postpaid plan is the cheapest plan among all the postpaid plans offered by Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea. However, there are few things which are not at all attractive with this postpaid plan. Here are the things that you should know.

Rs 399 Postpaid Plan: Cheapest Plan Offered by Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea

Vodafone has mentioned the Rs 399 postpaid plan on its main postpaid plan page under its RED banner. Bharti Airtel's postpaid plan portfolio did not suggest the Rs 399 postpaid plan on the main page. Bharti Airtel considered Rs 399 postpaid plan under the "other plans" section as it is only offered in selected circles. Airtel has noted that this plan is available in all the circles except Andhra Pradesh, Delhi/NCR, Karnataka, Chennai and Tamil Nadu. In this section, Airtel also has another plan which is priced at Rs 349, and the plan is offered in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi/NCR, Chennai and Tamil Nadu only.

Rs 399 Postpaid Plan Benefits

Now Rs 399 postpaid plan is the cheapest is going to get some attention from the customers, and this plan ships 40GB data per month along with the unlimited calling benefit. There is also 20 SMS benefit per day. The subscribers also get ZEE5 membership, Airtel Xstream premium subscription and Handset protection plan. Though, Amazon Prime benefit for an entire year is not offered with this plan.

Is Rs 499 Postpaid Plan a Better Choice?

As opposed to this, Bharti Airtel also offers the Rs 499 postpaid plan. Though the Rs 499 postpaid plan is just Rs 100 extra than the Rs 399 plan, the benefits that it provides are more worthy for the subscribers. First, it is the data benefit that is almost double at 75GB per month along with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. Conversely, what makes the plan beneficial is the Amazon Prime and the Netflix benefit. The subscribers can enjoy three months of free Netflix subscription and a year of complimentary Amazon Prime subscription with this plan. The Rs 399 postpaid plan of Bharti Airtel does not offer this benefit.
