PUBG Mobile India to launch soon: Know more
From a long time we have heard about the return of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile in India, but yet there has been no official announcement about its release date. Some say that the Battle Royale game will launch in the first week of December, while some reports suggest that the game has been delayed. Here's everything we know about the game so far.
PUBG Mobile India will be an Indian version of the game, which will be slightly different from its global version. It will bring some new features and updates to suit the requirements of the Indian government.
The game will launch with the help of Microsoft's cloud computing service Azure. PUBG's parent company Krafton has signed an agreement with Azure to host PUBG Mobile in India. The company says that the privacy and security of the players will be its priority.
Although PUBG is mocking the arrival of the game in the country on its social media channels, a report from InsideSport indicates that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) has not allowed PUBG Mobile India to begin operating in the country.
The report notes: "Any banned entity can't operate just by floating a new company. This even Tik Tok or anyone else can do. They will have to get permissions from MEITY to operate once again in India."
In the coming weeks, we should get more details about this.
