Realme 3 Pro 'Blind Orders' to start on April 19

Update: 2019-04-18 13:19 IST

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth tweeted on Tuesday that blind orders for Realme 3 Pro will begin on April 19 on the official Realme website. Potential buyers will not have to pay for the Realme 3 Pro, but can simply register and have the opportunity to win an R-pass that will help them buy the Realme 3 Pro regardless of the rush during instant sales. In addition, the microsite for the Realme 3 Pro was launched at the electronic retailer Flipkart, suggesting fast charging support.

As to what a blind order is, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth clarified in a later tweet that a blind order will allow interested buyers to register for Realme 3 Pro on the company's official website without having to pay, and have the opportunity to win an R-pass. It is calling blindly since consumers will not know the specifications or even the price of the phone. However, the company is giving away only 5,000 R passes that will ensure that the lucky winners can buy the device at the time of its launch and avoid the hassle of instant sales.

In addition, the Realme 3 Pro home page was launched on Flipkart and highlights a key feature of the next smartphone: Fast charging support. The CEO of Realme has also tweeted recently that the Realme 3 Pro will provide 5 hours of talk time with only 10 minutes of upload, and the same feature will also be promoted on the homepage of the Flipkart device. According to a recent leak, the Realme 3 Pro will have a 3,960mAh battery, but there is no word on the standard of fast charging supports.

As for the rest of the specifications, it is said that the phone comes with a full HD screen of 6.3 inches, ColorOS 6.0, and the SoC Snapdragon 710 combined with 6GB of RAM. The company had also recently mocked the image capabilities of the Realme 3 Pro, especially for low-light photography, but the resolution of the cameras and related features are not known until now. We will know more when Realme officially releases the Realme 3 Pro at an event on April 22 that will begin at 12:30 p.m. IST.
