Reliance Jio has rolled out its first HD video conferencing app called JioMeet in India. The app JioMeet and is available for free to all users. The video calling app brings many features like scheduling meetings, screen sharing, and many more.
The increasing demand for video conferencing platforms amid COVID-19 lockdown, several apps have made grown in the number of users beginning with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and now JioMeet.
JioMeet Features
JioMeet allows up to 100 participants on its platform, and users can host a call for up to 24 hours.
The JioMeet allows users to set up a one on one call and conference call up to 100 participants with enterprise-grade host controls.
The 'enterprise-grade host controls' offered in JioMeet include password protection for meetings, multi-device login support, screen sharing ability, a waiting room, ability to schedule meetings and more.
The JioMeet app offers features like join a meeting without having to sign in. Users can make use of a 'Meeting ID' or a 'Personal link name' to participate in a meeting.
JioMeet app allows users to host or join an unlimited number of calls.
Steps to download the JioMeet app
The JioMeet app is available on Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. To download the JioMeet app - go to the App Store or the Play Store, search for JioMeet application and download it.
You can sign in using your company domain on the JioMeet app. To sign in, follow these simple steps.
Open JioMeet app or visit https://www.jiomeetpro.jio.com.
Go to "Sign In" page.
Click on "Company Domain"
Fill in your Domain ID/full email address.
If you don't know your Domain ID, click on "I don't know my company domain" option -> Enter your full email address.
Click on "Continue"
JioMeet will take on existing platforms like Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.
