Vi announces Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription with prepaid and postpaid plans

Vi (Vodafone Idea) announced on Wednesday that it will offer customers 1 year of access to Disney + Hotstar. Vi prepaid users get three new unlimited recharge plans, including a data-only plan with a VIP subscription to Disney + Hotstar. Postpaid Vi users can access the streaming service on plans starting at Rs 499. The offer also comes just in time for the upcoming IPL cricket season.

The first Vi prepaid plan is priced at Rs 401 and is valid for 28 days. This prepaid plan offers a one-year Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription, 100GB of 4G data with 3GB per day and an extra 16GB, and unlimited calls. The Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription is priced at Rs 399 per year. At this level, subscribers get access to movies and show from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, superhero movies, and popular Disney movies like The Lion King and Frozen II, in addition to VIP content from Hotstar.

The Vi prepaid plan priced at Rs 601 with 56 days of validity offers the same offers, but 200GB of 4G data. Then there is the Rs 801 prepaid plan which also has the same benefits, including 300GB of 4G data. The Vi data-only recharge plan is priced at Rs 501 and you get 75GB of 4G data and a Disney + Hotstar one year subscription.

Vi postpaid plans priced at Rs 499 and up can get a one-year Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription along with other existing benefits. These include unlimited voice, data, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Vi Movies and TV shows, and more. The benefits differ according to the plans.
