Vodafone Idea Phone Line Offers Google Assistant on a Phone call

At the Google For India 2019 event, Google has introduced a handy feature in India, for people who don't have an internet connection or mobile data. Vodafone Idea Phone Line comes with a voice search proficiencies of Google Assistant to a toll-free number 000 800 9191 000 that anyone can call and enquiry about things like facts, distance to specific locations, sports scores, weather updates etc.

Google has joined hands with Vodafone Idea for this service. By default, it comes in Hindi but can be switched to English by following the instructions. You also need to change your location to your current city if the query is location-based.

This service works just as Google Assistant works on a smartphone with an internet connection. You can ask about anything, and it will be transmitted through Google Assistant to offer you the correct response. The impressive thing about the service is that there is no need for data, and it works exactly like a phone operator working around the clock for you.

We tried to reach this number from a landline phone and different carriers, but it responded saying that the lines were busy. But we didn't have problems from a Vodafone Idea connection. Google has confirmed that currently, the service is exclusive to Vodafone Idea customers. But the company didn't confirm whether it will be expanded to other network carriers in the future.
