Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Series Launches Today

Today Xiaomi will upgrade its most popular smartphone series in India. Today Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 series made its debut with two smartphones – Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 9 launch was scheduled at noon. Xiaomi had cancelled the on-ground event for its Redmi Note 9 launch, but it will carry on with an online conference. The live event was showed via Xiaomi's YouTube channel and their social media handles about updates.

Amazon India already unveiled a Redmi Note 9 teaser page. The teaser page doesn't disclose anything other than a quad camera setup. It also shows that four rear cameras will be arranged in a square module which is not similar like the vertical design on the Redmi Note 8 series.

Xiaomi also teased the Redmi Note 9 design which is found in green colour. It also highlights performance, gaming and charging suggesting at major upgrades in these zones. There is nothing else disclosed about the Redmi Note 9 series, but leaks also indicate that Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G processor will power the phones. The new Redmi Note 9 phones could also support up to 30W fast charging.

Xiaomi's new smartphones are also likely to compete with the recently launched Realme 6 series. Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro come with a 64-megapixel quad camera, 90Hz display and 30W fast charging. It looks like Xiaomi already has fierce competitors to compete with its new Redmi Note phones.
