BSNL Broadband Plan Superstar 300 Brings Free Subscription to Hotstar Premium
The state-owned telecom operator BSNL is trying to expand its customer base by giving away subscriptions to broadcast services with its broadband plans as a bonus. Earlier this year, it started offering an Amazon Prime membership worth Rs. 999 to select Bharat Fiber customers, with the objective of capitalizing on the growth of these services in India. BSNL has announced a new broadband plan called Superstar 300, which comes with a free subscription to Hotstar Premium, which provides access to Hotstar's portfolio of originals, live sports, movies and TV shows.
Benefits of Superstar 300
The new broadband plan Superstar 300 of BSNL comes at Rs. 749 and offers 300 GB of high-speed data at 50 Mbps per month. The highlight of the new BSNL fiber for the home plan is obviously the subscription to Hotstar Premium. Currently, Hotstar is broadcasting the ICC Cricket World Cup and the streaming service is also continuously adding to its content library, both local and from Western content makers.
BSNL has made an announcement that the Superstar 300 broadband plan with a free subscription to Hotstar Premium will be available in all telecom circles across India. Those who are interested can send an application online or call 18003451500 toll-free number.
This year in January BSNL revealed that selected customers of Bharat Fiber will get a free Amazon Prime membership for one year. However, BSNL is not the only telecom operator that does so. Airtel announced earlier this month that Airtel Platinum customers will get a premium subscription from Zee5 and also began to grant free access to Netflix for users with select postpaid and broadband plans.
