Chandrayaan-2: Thank you for standing by us, ISRO
On Twitter, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) tweeted a thank you note for Indian citizens across the world for supporting Chandrayaan-2.
The tweet read, "Thank you for standing by us. We will continue to keep going forward - propelled by the hopes and dreams of Indians across the world."
ISRO also shared an image of the silhouette of a man jumping between across a cliff. The text on the picture read, "Thank you for inspiring us to always aim for the sky."

Chandrayaan-2 was India's first mission at landing a spacecraft on the moon. Before this, only the US, Russia and China managed to place a spacecraft on the moon.
On September 2, when Chandrayaan-2's Vikram Lander lost contact with ISRO, it was 2.1 kilometres away from the moon's surface. The lander is carrying the Pragyan Rover.
ISRO chief K Sivan a later confirmed that Chandrayaan-2's Vikram Lander was located, but communication with it was yet to be established. Then the space agency added that the lander is unbroken as a 'single-piece'.
But still, there was no clarity on the exact condition of the Vikram Lander yet. ISRO made continuous attempts to establish communication with it. Recently, we got to know that the American space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is also sending radio signals to Vikram Lander trying to communicate with it.
Chandrayaan-2 consists of three parts – the Orbiter, Lander (Vikram) and Rover (Pragyan). In the last stage, the communication between the Vikram Lander and the moon orbiter was broken as the former was descending towards the moon's South Pole.
