We all prefer a smartphone that can get charged within no time over a smartphone with a colossal battery, considering the demand of modern times, when speed is the need for professionals. Universal smartphone makers have noticed this and going by the recent tech innovations, in future we expect this kind of phones that can charge extraordinarily fast from zero to 100 per cent. A 100W fast charging tech that's said to charge your phone completely from zero to full in 17 minutes.

Two Chinese smartphone manufacturers are working on their fast charging technology: Xiaomi and Vivo. Vivo claims to be developing a 120W fast charging tech (FlashCharge) whereas Xiaomi is working on 100W fast charging (Super Charge Turbo). From these two, Xiaomi may be the one that launches a device with 100W fast charging support first.

According to GizChina, Xiaomi may launch its Mi Mix 4 with support for 100W charging. Some images appeared on Weibo, promoting Xiaomi's 100W charging tech in a banner.

It is not yet clear to how the smartphone battery will be able to cope with fast charging as it doesn't only depend on a fast charger alone. The handset should be accustomed to handling that amount of high-wattage too. With a 100W charger, a 4000mAh battery smartphone would get charged from zero to 100 percent in just 17 minutes, says the GizChina report.

Currently, Realme X2 Pro supports 50W fast-charging while the Oppo Reno Ace support 65W fast charging.
