Hurray! Now You Can Buy Google Pixel 4, 4XL on Amazon India
Last year Google unveiled its flagship Pixel 4 smartphone series, it made many Indians disheartened when it said the series wouldn't be coming to India. The reason behind was the motion-sensing feature that used 60GHz mmWave frequency to operate, and Google failed to get the license to use that frequency in the country. But the good news is that the Indians can now buy the smartphone from Amazon. The smartphones are seen listed on Amazon India in various colour variants which include the brand-new 'Oh so Orange' colour.
If we go to the Amazon India website or the Amazon app and search for Pixel 4, the search result displays Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones ranging between Rs 70,999 and Rs 80,000. Though the price is not stable, we could see the Pixel 4 (4GB+64GB model) pricing at Rs 79,990, while the Pixel 4 XL (64GB model) costs Rs 76,997. You can also see the devices listed in 'Clearly White' and 'Just Black' colour variants. The lowest-priced model that we could see is the Pixel 4 (64GB model) Just Black variant at Rs 70,999.
While Pixel 4 series has not been officially launched in India, it is shocking to see Amazon selling the handsets with 'Prime' delivery and 'Fulfilled by Amazon' branding. For those unaware, 'Fulfilled by Amazon' branding here, we understand that the device "stored, packed and dispatched from Amazon fulfilment centres. Amazon directly handles delivery, customer service and returns."
While this means Amazon is openly involved in selling Pixel 4 smartphones in the country, Whereas Google has re-confirmed that officially these devices are not available in India. When enquired Google spokesperson said, "Pixel 4 is not officially available in India."
