Samsung Galaxy F34 5G with 50MP camera launched starting at Rs 18,999
Samsung launched the Galaxy F34 in India after launching the Galaxy M34 in July and the Galaxy A34 in May. The new device looks similar to its 34-numbered siblings, though it's relatively more affordable, 5G connectivity notwithstanding. The Galaxy F34 also packs a 6000 mAh battery to offer a "two-day" backup. Other key features include triple cameras on the back, Dolby Atmos speakers, and four years of Android updates.

The Samsung Galaxy F34 5G has a starting price of Rs 18,999 for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The top variant, with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, carries a sticker price of Rs 20,999. The smartphone is available for pre-orders via Flipkart, Samsung's official website, and at select retail stores. The actual sale will begin on August 11. The Galaxy F34 5G is offered in two colour options: Electric Black and Mystic Green.
Also, ICICI Bank credit card holders can enjoy a free EMI plan starting from Rs 2111. ICICI or Kotak Bank cards can also avail instant discount worth Rs 1,000.
Samsung Galaxy F34 5G: Specifications
The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy F34 have already been revealed before the launch. The smartphone sports a 6.4-inch Full-HD AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. Samsung has used Corning's Gorilla Glass 5 to add durability to the screen. As mentioned, the rear packs a triple rear camera system, comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front panel includes a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
The phone draws power from an Exynos 1280 SoC and a large 6000 mAh battery, which promises to provide two days of backup with conservative use. However, the package does not include a charging block. Other key features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.3, and USB Type-C connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy F34 5G comes with OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13 out of the box, though Samsung promises four years of a significant Android OS update promise. You'll also get five years of security updates.
Being a Samsung phone, the Galaxy F34 5G includes internal apps to manage Samsung wearable devices. To drive digitisation, Samsung recently updated its Wallet, which tokenizes and stores your credit and debit cards. There is also security support from Knox, and the phone will be 5 G-ready.
