Nalgonda: SP AV Ranganath warns RTC JAC of action on Sadak Bandh protest

Nalgonda: District SP AV Ranganath on Monday warned that stern action would be taken if anyone tries to create hurdles to commuters on the National Highway-65 in the district in the name of Sadak Bandh protest call given by RTC JAC.

He was addressing the police officer's meeting in the wake of RTC JAC Hyderabad-Kodad Highway Sadak Bandh programme in Nalgonda.

He informed us that all sorts of precautionary measures have been taken to tackle the situation during the protest along the highway in the district.

Stating that creating hurdles to commuters on the national highway in the name of protests is an offense as per the National Highway Act, 1956, he warned of the arrest the protestors if they come to the national highway to show their strength.

He advised the police officials to pay attention to the JAC leaders and take appropriate steps to tackle the situation and take utmost care to avoid traffic jams on the national highway during the Sadak Bandh protest.

DSP Venkateshwar Reddy, CIs Basha, Suresh Babu, Gouru Naidu, Rajashekar Goud, Nageshwar Rao, Shankar Reddy, SIs and police personnel participated in the meeting.
