Preventive Detention Act imposed on regular offender in Mancherial

Mancherial: Preventive Detention (PD) Act has been imposed against a habitual offender under Ramagundam Police Commissionerate limits on Thursday. Manthani Sai Krishna (23), resident of Bellampalli in Mancherial district was booked under the PD Act as he was involved in several robbery cases in and around Ramagundam.

Ramagundam Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana said that the offender was involved in a murder case also. The accused was habituated to lavish lifestyle and started robbing locked houses.

Bellampalli Rural Inspector A Narender Reddy said they have arrested the accused and shifted him to Warangal prison.
