1 killed, 6 injured after two RTC buses collide in Khammam

A person was killed and six others injured after two RTC buses collided in Tallampadu mandal of Khammam in the early hours on Tuesday. The injured include the driver of another bus, Jangaiah and five other passengers. They were shifted to Khammam government hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the deceased, identified as Kiran (40), an RTC bus driver of Eluru bus depot died on the spot. One of the buses was heading to Hyderabad from Khammam and another bus was proceeding towards Khammam from Hyderabad.

The police inspected the spot and launched an investigation.
