1,137 Inter students pass after reverification
Hyderabad: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) said a total of 1,137 candidates of the first and second-year Intermediate have qualified following the re-verification of the answer scripts of the candidates who were earlier declared failed.
It may be mentioned here that the State High Court had earlier directed the TSBIE to conduct the re-verification of the answer scripts and upload the answer scripts and marks by the evening of May 27.
Following these directions, the TSBIE in a communique here on Monday said that it has declared the results after the re-verification process following the directions of the State High Court.
Accordingly, out of the total 1,137 candidates, it said 552 are from the second and 585 are from the first Intermediate course. The second year 552 candidates are eligible to pursue their higher education.
Further, out of the above 1,137 qualified candidates, the TSBIE said that 88 are qualified by gaining one mark and 156 students passed the examination by gaining two marks.
Similarly, 161 students have got 3 marks and another 140 students gained 4 marks, 95 more students have gained 5 marks and 497 students have got six more marks during the re-verification process. Following the latest marks gained by the students they were declared as qualified, the communique said.
Further, the Board said that the Hall Ticket numbers of the March 2019 failed candidates who have passed after Re-verification can be viewed in http://bie.telangana.gov.in
The results of Re-verification marks and scanned answer books of all candidates can be viewed and downloaded from http://bie.telangana.gov.in And, the results of already passed candidates, who have applied for re- verification and re-counting will be posted on the TSBIE website -- http://bie.telangana.gov.in within three days, it said.
The TSBIE also said that the fee paid by 21,537 students who failed in the Intermediate examinations conducted in March 2019, shall be refunded after June 12, since the board, undertook the revaluation of all failed candidates free of cost.
It expressed thanks to all teaching and non-teaching staff who have worked during summer vacation in the scorching heat and made this herculean task possible to instill confidence among the Intermediate students.
