12 more patients suspected of being infected with coronavirus admitted in Hyderabad hospital

As many as 12 more patients including three air hostesses suspected of being infected with the novel coronavirus (nCoV) were admitted to Gandhi and Fever hospitals on Wednesday. With the latest number, the total count of coronavirus suspected cases reached 63.

Out of the total 12, eight of them were admitted to Gandhi Hospital while four are in Fever Hospital. The patients were kept in the isolation wards at the hospital and their test samples have been sent to the virology lab in Gandhi Hospital.

Vijay Kumar, the state nodal officer for coronavirus said that samples of 25 patients who got admitted into the hospital suspecting of being infected with coronavirus were tested negative.

On the other hand, around 490 people are reported to have died in China due to the coronavirus and 24,324 people were tested positive.
