122 PDS rice bags seized in Asifabad

Asifabad: Civil Supply staff along with the police seized 122 PDS rice bags at Jainoor mandal headquarters on Friday.

Acting on a tip off, Civil Supply officer Kiran Kumar, DT enforcement Jainoor Pochaiah and sub-inspector R Srinivas have raided Isthari Jinnig Mill at Jainoor and seized PDS rice stored there.

They handed over the rice to MLS point in-charge of Jainur till further order from the Collector.
