14-month-old dies after slab collapses on him in Hyderabad

A 14-month-old boy identified as Gitam died after slab collapsed on him on Sunday morning here at Sitaphalmandi. Two others including the toddler's mother Swati residing in the building were also injured.

According to the police, the building in which the victims were residing is said to be under dilapidation state. All the three were shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment where the boy succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.

The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
