15 MW solar power plant erected at SCCL Ramagundam
Kothagudem: With special focus, Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) established solar power plants in various places of the company. On Friday, 50 megawatts solar power plant being erected at Ramagundam-3, 15 megawatts division has started power generation. Singareni Director (E&M) D Satyanarayana Rao pressed the switch and connected 15 megawatts of power to 132 KV substation.
In the first phase, 129 megawatts erection was taken up at Manuguru, Yellandu and Ramagundam-3 and Singareni Thermal power plants. Out of this, 10 megawatts plant was started on February 10 at STPP, 30 megawatts plant was started on July 30 at Manuguru and 50 megawatts plant is being completed at Ramagundam-3 out of which 15 megawatts division has been connected to the grid on Friday. With this, 55 megawatts solar power has been connected to the grid by Singareni.
Speaking about the 15 megawatt solar power plant at Ramagundam-3, Satyanarayana Rao said that due to the special focus of CMD N Sridhar on 300 megawatt solar plants, the erection is being done at a fast pace.
Area GM K Suryanarayana, Adriyala GM NVK Srinivas, Singareni Thermal power plant ED Sanjay Kumar Sur, Solar GM DV SN Raju, Solar Consultant Muralitharan, SE CH Prabhakar, SE Transco Karimnagar Srinivas, BHEL representative Subhash Dhanvalkar, TBGKS General Secretary Miryala Raji Reddy, Area Engineer Ramalingam, Regional Solar Engineer Srinivas and other officials participated in the programme.
