19-year-old hospitalised due to PUBG addiction in Wanaparthy
A 19-year-old youth was hospitalised after he developed a blood clot in the brain and was suffering from acute weight loss, poor nutrition and dehydration here at Wanaparthy. It came to light on Saturday when he was discharged from the hospital.
The youngster who was addicted to PUBG was sent to a hospital on August 26 after he was unable to move his right leg and hand. He is learned to have avoided food and water focusing on the game and almost lost 3-4 kg weight in a month.
According to his mother, he would start the game at 9 pm and continue till 3 or 4 am. "He used to break when he steps out of the house for the part-time job as a new paperboy," said the teen's mother hoping that he would discontinue the game after the issue.
