2 BHK houses first to those hit by road-widening: MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy

Patancheru: MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy announced on Monday that double bedroom houses would be allotted on priority to those who lost houses in road-widening work.

Speaking after laying a foundation stone for 2 BHK houses in Muthangi village, along with ZPTC Member Supraja, he disclosed that 96 two BHK houses would be constructed at a cost of Rs 5.04 crore in four blocks, each block containing 24 houses.

He stated that these houses would be allotted only to those without dwellings, and first priority would be given to those who lose houses in road-widening. Later the beneficiaries in Muthangi would be allotted houses. Reddy recalled that he had already given an assurance to this effect. Those present on the occasion included MPP Sushmasri, Sarpanch Upender, MPTC Member Kumar Goud, TRS leaders Sharath Reddy and others.
