2 held for peddling ganja in Hyderabad

Two people were arrested by the Excise police at Uppal for allegedly selling ganja targeting the youngsters in the city.

The police who are conducting a vehicle check between Ashok Nagar and Nehru Nagar have found a Tata Tiago vehicle that tried to escape from the checking. However, the police traced the vehicle and seized 22 kg of ganja from the duo. Two cell phones and the vehicles were seized.

The arrested were identified as Venkatesh (24 and Naragani Nagaraju (28), both are the natives of Chennur in Palakurthy, Warangal.

The police said that the arrested were smuggling the contraband to sell it at Medchal, Ghatkesar, and Uppal. The police sent them to remand and launched a hunt to nab Naragani Santhosh who is at large.
