2 London returnees test positive for COVID-19 in Hyderabad

COVID-19 in Hyderabad: Two persons who returned to Hyderabad from London tested positive for COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in Telangana to 16.

One of them arrived in Hyderabad from London via Dubai on March 18. He was tested positive on Thursday. Another person who also travelled from London to Hyderabad was also tested positive. The two patients were shifted to Gandhi Hospital and are under quarantine. The two hail from Nalgonda and Sangareddy district, but were residing in Hyderabad.

The officials are tracking all the passengers travelled in Dubai-Hyderabad flight. Along with the two London returnees, another person from Dubai also tested positive for the COVID-19 on Thursday in Telangana.

On the other hand, 40 other passengers who showed symptoms of COVID-19 were shifted to Gandhi Hospital, Fever Hospital and Chest Hospital. According to the health authorities, seven suspected cases admitted to the district hospital in Karimnagar.
