Mahbubnagar: To realise the dreams of people of Jadcherla and Mahbubnagar twin towns to have a four lane express highway road connecting both the towns, the State government has sanctioned Rs 219 crore for the expansion and construction of road between these two towns.

Mahbubnagar which is the district headquarters just about 15 kilometres from Jadcherla is fast expanding. The stretch between Mahbubnagar and Jadcherla has been linked with a single lane road at present.

However, as this road has become a part of national highway-167, the Central government had earlier sanctioned Rs 78 crore. But with the intervention of Mahbubnagar MLA Srinivas Goud, the Central government had agreed to enhance the allocation for making the stretch into a four-lane road.

"Mahbubnagar people had never dreamt of having an IT Park, a bypass road and a government medical college in the united Andhra Pradesh. But soon after formation of Telangana, we have brought in revolutionary development in the district.

The stretch between Jadcherla and Mahbubnagar will become urban conglomeration with schools, recreational parks and medical colleges. Very soon, with a four-lane road, the two towns will have easy transportation and business will flourish giving scope for faster development," observed Minister Srinivas Goud.

He said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was giving top priority to Mahbubnagar and ensuring that the district gets developed into a beautiful city in the coming days.

With the development of irrigation projects and setting up of industrial parks and IT parks, soon the employment generation would be doubled and income levels of people would be raised, hoped the Minister.
