3 Killed, 2 injured after car rams into truck at Kamareddy

Three of a family died on the spot and two others suffered serious injuries after the car they were in collided with a truck on the other side of the road after hitting the median.

The driver is said to have dozed off on the wheel which led the car to hit median and later ramming into a truck. The incident occurred on Thursday morning at Adloor near Yellareddy on National Highway 44.

According to the victims, Rakesh's family from Vanasthalipuram headed to Basara to perform Aksharabhyasam for his son Abhiram.

Rakesh's wife, brother-in-law and her aunt died at the spot while himself and his son suffered serious injuries.

The police rushed to the spot and sent the injured to Kamareddy hospital.
