3 killed after being struck by lightning in Khammam

Khammam: Three people were killed and another is battling for life after being struck by lightning here on Tuesday evening at Mudikonda of Khammam district.

The deceased were identified as Praveen (19), Srinu (20) and Naveen (19). The four have gone to agricultural field to spend sometime on the festive day and were hit by the lightning. While Gopi's condition is said to be critical.

The bodies were shifted to Khammam government hospital for post-mortem. Mudikonda SI Mahesh registered a case and is investigating.
