3 killed after car rams into stationary lorry in Siddipet

Three people were killed after the car they were travelling in rammed into a stationary lorry here at Siddipet in the wee hours on Monday.

The trio identified as Mallesham (35), Janardhan Reddy (50) and Prabhakar Reddy (50) died on the spot. The incident occurred at Pragnapur when the victims were returning home after attending an audio function in Hyderabad.

All the deceased belongs to Vegurupalli of Manakonduru mandal. The police registered a case and are investigating.

In another incident, a person was killed and four others injured after a private travels bus turned turtle at Pallipadu of Khammam district. The bus was heading to Bhadrachalam from Hyderabad.
