3-year-old girl in critical condition after being hit by police vehicle dies

A three-year-old girl who was hit by a police vehicle in Bhongir two days ago died while undergoing treatment here at LB Nagar. According to the doctors, Pranati's heart stopped working and was declared dead at 5.45 am today.

A constable working with the city Armed Reserve was at the wheel and ran over the girl who was sleeping in a parking space beside her father. The girl who suffered grievous head injuries was put on a ventilator, said Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mahesh Bhagwat.
