30-day action plan will change the face of villages: ZP chief Koram Kankaiah

Kothagudem: The State government's 30-day action plan would change the face of our villages, said Kothagudem Zilla Parishad Chairman Koram Kankaiah. On Thursday, a review meeting was conducted by District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini with all district officers, panchayat secretaries and mandal development officers in Palvoncha.

Addressing the gathering, the ZP chief stated that everyone should come together for the implementation of 30-day action plan and work for the development of their respective villages.

District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini informed that the State government has been releasing Rs 339 crore for the development panchayats every month. He directed all the officials and the staff concerned to work in tandem for the development of villages. Informing that the plan would start from Friday, the Collector added that everyone should work towards making the district a plastic-free one and informed that several awareness camps have already been conducted in this regard.

Mahabubabad MP M Kavitha, Kothagudem legislator Vanama Venkasteswara Rao and Pinapaka MLA Rega Kantha Rao, speaking at the programme, stated that every public representative must take part in the programmes to be held as part of the action plan.

Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Project Officer VP Goutham, Bhadrachalam Sub-Collector Bhavesh Mishra, District Rural Development Agency Project Director P Jagath Kumar Reddy, District Revenue Officer Kiran Kumar, District Forest Officer Rambabu and others attended the programme.
