4 held for peddling ganja in Hyderabad

Four people were arrested on Wednesday for smuggling Ganja into the city from Vishakapatnam. Around 80 kg of the contraband, a Maruti Swift car and four mobile phones were seized from their possession.
The Special Operations Team (SOT), Rachakonda arrested Saida Naik (23), Lavudya Anil (20), Lakavath Vinod (20) and L Hussain, all belong to Suryapet. Another suspect identified as Shiva (26), a resident of Vishakapatnam is absconding.
Rachakonda Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat said that the arrested procured ganja from Vishakapatnam for Rs 2000 per kg and selling them in Hyderabad and Nizamabad for Rs 7000 per kg.
